- Add _validate_bpf_syntax() method to validate BPF expressions - Use tshark with 1-second timeout for syntax checking - Check for "Invalid" in output to detect syntax errors - Validate BPF filters before applying them to links - Handle tshark not installed scenario gracefully - Support both single and multiple BPF expressions - Return detailed error messages for syntax validation failures
